Salted Caramel Cupcakes: A Yummy Summmer Hit!

Salted Caramel Cupcakes seem to be extremely popular lately; and I must admit after trying a range of cheesecakes, mousses and cakes I am not surprised why. The smooth sweet taste of caramel is complemented with a tang of salt.

Here I have found a delicious recipe of salted caramel cupcakes. Why not try baking these cupcakes as an after treat.

Use dark brown cake cases to add a luxury feel to the cake.

To add a twist

Add in a bit of a nutty texture to the soft light fluffy sponge with some honey roasted cashews

If you don’t want the nuts in the sponge ass a few into the butter-cream by first blending them in to finer pieces. Once your happy stir in to the ready made butter cream with a large wooden spoon, let me know what you think ;-)
