Making these Hedgehog Cake Pops was extremley fun, and yes maybe there not exactley the best out there but whats important was I enjoyed making them ;-)

I started with a rich chocolate loaf cake recipe I often use when I am in need of something sweet but also very tasty ;-) Once cooled I placed the cake in to my blender and waited until the cake was broken down in to tiny crumbs.

I then added two large tablespoons of chocolate butter cream and again mixed..this time until the mixture was like a sticky dough.

I rolled out 24 little balls on some parcment paper, and began melting my chocolate. Dip your sticks in to the choclate and place in to the cake pop up to about the centre so they have good support. Then place in the freezer for a few minutes. I had made the heads out of coloured fondant that morning so they had hardend.

Once the little cake pops had come out the freezer, one by one i dipped them in chcolate placed on the fondant face and sprinkled boken chocolate pieces on top to look like spikes ;-)

I just thought he little flowers just finished them off ;-)
